You look like you might bite someone.

I was soooooooo depressed when this was shot plus it was about 2:30 in the morning when I took it..very tired..this was also taken right after I arrived back in Butler from getting whatever I could salvage from my house after the hurricane down in New Orleans.

P.S.: Sorry to say but I still have the same look on my face even at this present time..it's been hard on me trying to put a life back together again..BUT, who knows what the future holds in store for me..good things will surely come my way with some more hard work and effort..

Oh, I didn't realize that you were a refugee from New Orleans. Man, I can't even imagine what you went through.

Hi Smiley!! :D
Really, I'm sorry to hear of your situation. It has to suck.
I was in N.O. in 2001 and truly enjoyed myself there. It was a beautiful city. :)

Would you believe me if I told you I "WAS" smiling in this photo?..just kidding..I was born in West Virginia, raised as a child in and around the Pittsburgh area and moved to New Orleans back in 1976 and resided there until mid Febuary of this year when I finally thru up my hands and said, "SCREW THIS"..meaning why put it back together only to watch it wash out to the Gulf when the next major storm rolls through the area......

I still believe that a lot of this damage could have averted if the money that was supposed to be spent to upgrade the levees wasn't diverted to the Iraq war.
But it's not just that particular situation, it should have been done a long time ago.
I was in Pittsburgh about 8 yrs. ago to see a steelers/broncos game. Had a great weekend there.

well I hope happier times are on your horizons....you certainly have created beautiful art so I would imagine there are more smiles inside somewhere :) they show through in your work...I envy being able to twist that wire so tightly...my hands could not handle that!

you was right about what creating beautiful things does for me..it takes me to a whole different place in my mind ..helps a lot:)..just wish I had more time to do these things..I have many more plans to expand what I do in metal and take it in a different direction within or less than a year from now..also I'm more and more starting to look at just everyday things all around us and trying to figure out if their is a potential to reshape it into something other then what it was designed for, and it has to be abundant, cheap/free and relatively easy to convert into the raw material for whatever your going to reshape it into..CAN YOU TELL I'M EXCITED!!!!!..already have a few things in mind, so stay tuned....................;)

:excited: yay! it's the artist's curse you are going through right now.lol...we all save things for use in different projects...until the house is full of it.....:giggle:
